∞ i want to discover the true nature of my relationships …

with other people and mend whatever breaks i may find in those relations. so the eight step is the key to this, and that just happens to be where i am, or least where i am thinking about being. the humbling part of where i am, is that this is not my first eight step and all of the damage i am discovering has been done while i was an active participant in my recovery. dang it, i thought i was supposed to be getting better at this life gig, and here i am looking at damage once again. of course i could always change sponsors and put this off for a while longer, but that would accomplish nothing, the list would still be there, longer i am sure and even more humbling than it is right now. so if i want to have good relationships and if i want to practice these principles ion all my affairs, then i need to get down to actually working through this step and find the relief that i know is there.
anyhow, it has been a long morning and yet i have very little done, so it is time to catch-up and do some work. life is all about doing what i need to do, just for today.
