& with a little time clean under my belt, there is less urgency to my program &

sometimes i am not be quite as willing to put to use the experience of others. after all, i KNOW HOW this works.
once again a sponsee, side-stepped the assignment i gave him, and once again i am tiring of fighting his will on this. it is true, that what he wrote was good, and i will give him the benefit of the doubt on there being another letter in the mail, with the actual assignment i asked him to write. it really does not matter, what does matter is that i am beginning to think that perhaps he needs to find a new sponsor, as it seems that i have given him all that i can give him. in the battle of self-wills, i officially surrender mine into the care of the POWER that fuels my recovery.
it is true, after a bit of time working a program and learning to live one, i have been given a bit of grace, and step work no longer has its urgency, inn fact there are times when i struggle to figure out what i need to write.this morning is one of those days, and as a result, i think i will just jump into the shower and head down to Denver to work. it is a good day to be clean,. and who knows what lunch time will bring, a bit of fresh insight, a muse to fill me with pithy wisdom, or just a chicken breast sandwich. anyhow we all shall see…
