i really like the line in the reading that says " for every action there is a price and a prize. " the implication is that consequences for actions are not always negative, and my of action is diminished when i look at this positive spin on the word consequences.
in my mind the word consequences brings images of awful things happening and as a result, i live in fear some days of doing anything. of course, the action of inaction also brings its own consequences, so i cannot escape going that way either. it is not my experience that some immutable physical law applies, that every action brings and opposite and equal reaction, but it seems to me that an immutable spiritual law does apply -- every action i take has a result, good, bad or indifferent. and if I want positive results (prizes) I need to work to take positive actions. and although what appears to be a positive result may in the long run turn out to be a price i need to pay. conversely what appears to be a price may end-up being a prize, i just cannot tell, so i guess i have to take action and leave the results (consequences), up to my HIGHER POWER, where they belong anyhow! so with that in mind, it is time for me to take the action and do some work!
