↔ a simple solution ↔

i love when our literature states that we have such a simple solution for our complicated problem. i am easily confused and often think simple means easy.
the problem lies in the definitions; one definition of simple is:
readily understood or performed
the readily part gets me. if something can be readily performed it must be easy, or is it? it has been my experience that when i am twisting about something that the spiritual path is never appears readily performed, rather it seems so complicated that i will never, ever, GET IT! so i trudge through my stuff, do the best i can and finally surrender the program and accept the simple solution to my complicated problem THE STEPS!
... and once again i see how this program can be readily understood and performed.
