i am totally grateful that i have always felt the need to have a sponsor. although i do have a habit of taking him for granted, i have found that he has always been there for me and is the BEST sponsor in the world (for me). even though this role has been filled by three different men over the course of my recovery, each provided me with the love, guidance and compassion that i needed, and yes, even wanted. so i guess i will take a bit of direction and give him a call today.
