... i ensure that i have a network of recovery, even when i am deep in a romance. so it has been one long day, but i feel good about my part of the service effort i was a part of today. what does that have to do with romance and maintaining my network even when i am head over heels involved in a romance? well for me, my passion to advance what i see needs to be advanced in my fellowship, forms the same sort of obsession that i have when i am in a romance,. no not in that way, but it does get me going places, and changing my priorities to things that do not necessarily advance my progress along my recovery journey. when things blow up, then my ego takes me away from relying on the tools, and the network of support that i have developed during my time in recovery. i have been fortunate that so far, that has not led to relapse, and for that i can be grateful.
so it is off to relax a bit before the social scene takes over again and oi have to be a part of life.

Book 1
1) The skilful traveller leaves no traces of his wheels or footsteps;
the skilful speaker says nothing that can be found fault with or blamed;
the skilful reckoner uses no tallies; the skilful closer needs no
bolts or bars, while to open what he has shut will be impossible;
the skilful binder uses no strings or knots, while to unloose what
he has bound will be impossible. In the same way the sage is always
skilful at saving men, and so he does not cast away any man; he is
always skilful at saving things, and so he does not cast away anything.
This is called 'Hiding the light of his procedure.'
