↔ many people i encounter from all walks of life could really use …

...a program of recovery in their lives. sadly, those who need the fellowship do not always find their way to the rooms. so what i first thought about was the number of the people in my life who could use the program. of course, the reading is about, my acceptance of the fact is that many may need recovery, but only those who have the gift desperation, will actually find recovery in the rooms of the fellowship that allows me the freedom to be writing this. so here i sit in Raton, a day early doing a bit of work, and catching up on some reading before going over the hill and back again, before i get to drive home tonight. what i have accomplished since setting off from my comfortable domicile yesterday is very little, however i am undeterred in my resolve to get my task done.
so it is officially time to get off the computer, do a bit of relaxing and maybe smoke a cigar.
so anyhow, i understand that even though coerced meeting attendance is part of my story, i am quite an exception, and most of the time, people like me do not stick around. not that i am different from those whpo are being forced to come these days, what i do believe happened is that i DID have the gift of desperation, even though i would have denied it, and the switch got tripped after i grudgingly did some of the work that set-up my desire to be a part of this fellowship.
so back to my book, and i will be back tomorrow.
