λ the word anonymity itself means namelessness λ

but there is a larger principle at work in the anonymity of the program: the principle of selflessness. well since i am here and have a few minutes before the mad rush of this day starts, i will wish everyone a Merry Christmas, may you get what you truly need today and everyday.
what happens to be on my mind? well a bunch of stuff has started nagging me since yesterday, like a friend who has suddenly put severe constraints on our relationship at the whim of another person. i want to reach and let that person know that sort of behavior is people-pleasing at its finest, and twice now i have held back. well actually only once as i know that person ventures here every now and again. it saddens me to see such behavior in others as it is still part of my repertoire, and i can wrap it up in the spiritual camouflage of compromise and respect. what it is really, is not selfless behavior but shameless manipulation and deceit.
which is quite a segue into the topic of the reading this morning. the fact that i can take another person’s behavior and hold that mirror up to myself is evidence of the growth in my spiritual self. with this growth comes the ability to choose to live in self-absorbed self-will or surrender my will and my life into the care of a Power greater than myself. to lose my identity, and more importantly lose the need to stand out in a crowd and just be the person i can be on a minute by minute basis. yes i woke up with the overpowering urge to make a phone call, but as i sat quietly and listened to what was going on inside of me, i knew that urge was not motivated by true concern, but something darker and more twisted. that dark side had nothing to do with being nameless and selfless, and as i listened i became confident in what i need to do -- sit back, do the bit of work i have to do, get in a work out and then be present for my family and friends as this very busy day gets cranking. in other words, take care of myself, align my will to my true will and the will of the POWER that keeps me clean. If i can accomplish that, my needs will be met, i will prosper on a spiritual plane and i will move into that selfless state that is spoken of in the reading this morning. so it is off to the basement to burn off more than a few calories and see if i can once again achieve that place where i lack the need to enforce my center off the universe standing.

2) We should blunt our sharp points, and unravel the complications

into agreement with the obscurity of others. How pure and still the
Tao is, as if it would ever so continue!
