or at least do my best to ignore those expectations. well there is a saying that says be careful what you pray for. last night before crashing i asked to be shown direction in moving forward with my step work assignment. then of course this reading pops up. dang it all, oh i know it is about STEP 8, and i am not currently working that step. BUT, and it really is a big one, the majority of the insanity that is making my life unmanageable right now,, revolves around my expectations of myself and others. YARGH!
my current assignment is to describe what sanity would look like for me now. i do not think i will go into that this morning, but all of a sudden i have the willingness to do just that WRITE THE DAMN ASSIGNMENT!
anyhow, i am running a bit behind this morning, life has thrown me a bit more work than i want right now, BUT that is also a good thing, so rest assured i am writing tonight, and i will be calling the sponse to arrange some face time later this week perhaps. it is after all, still a good day to be clean.

1) In the highest antiquity, (the people) did not know that there
were (their rulers). In the next age they loved them and praised them.
In the next they feared them; in the next they despised them. Thus
it was that when faith (in the Tao) was deficient (in the rulers)
