ok -- sorry for the delay -- running around trying to accomplish too much in too short of a time span.
anyhow, i have noticed over the short course of my recovery, that what i need to be honest about changes and is always more. when i got here i thought honesty was about returning change and not telling lies, but i have discovered that it is whole lot more. in order for me to recover i NEED to be honest with at least one person about everything i think and feel. leaving out small details is dishonesty by omission and i cannot get better if i choose to decide what is important to share and what is trivial. my disease has a way of warping feelings and attitudes all out of perspective and i will concentrate on little things that seem HUGE and ignore the BIG things that seem trivial but are actually important. i also need to be honest when i share in the rooms. not that every member in attendance needs to know all that is going on in great detail, but they do need to know that no matter how i feel, i CAN stay clean another day. anyhow -- rushed for time today -- but i will stay clean today because i choose to, NO MATTER WHAT!
