future just for today and letting go of the outcome, great work when you can get it. wow what a difference a year makes. a year ago i was scrambling to find a new job, hating the fact i was not working and wondering how i was going to support myself. today, i am comfortable being retired and working a part-time job selling cigars. i was all future tripped out a year ago and today, not so much. no my future is hardly secure, i still spend way too much money, even though i have cut way back and i spend too much time bending AI to my will. i am, however, content in my daily life these days and i can make a plan or three and have just enough FAITH the let go of the results. i can also say that even though i screamed, wailed and gnashed my teeth, my life was a retired git is not at all, as bad or as heinous, as i once believed it would be.
i really am not one of those walk in FAITH guys who thinks everything is going according to some cosmic plan and no matter what happens it was meant to be. i make plans. i plan outcomes. i take the footwork to make bring those plans to fruition and i do my best to leave nothing up to chance. i also have learned that when i decide to do all of that and let things spin as they will, stepping up or stepping in when i need to, i am generally more than pleased with the results. even though i did not find a new full-time job and trust me i hammered that really, really hard, i can see that it was time for me to be where i am. not some sort of cosmic design, just a telling of who i want to be and how i want to spend my life. i have more time for my friends and family, for myself and for my program. i am less stressed and yes i did over-train because i had more time. 🏃 i am paying the price as i rehab my knees and start to run again. planning for a race even a 5K is not in my head at this time, but maybe the Colder Boulder is in my future. time will tell as i progress towards the end of the month 10K i am aiming to do.
life in my skin today is not too terribly bad. i do however need to cut this short and get headed out to work. who knows amybe another 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 review is in my future :)
