δ each day in the recovery process will bring an opportunity for further change and growth δ

the more i learn to greet change with an open mind and heart, the more i will grow and the more comfortable i will become with my recovery.
so here is it, writing this whole avoiding the madness that is getting on the road. i have taken a walk along the beach, showered, shaved, packed and now my final act before i pack the car and start the two journey back to my home in the middle of the country. although i have not had any shortcomings pointed out during the past week, i certainly have been feeling them, just itching to be acted upon. this is after all, the very first testing ground of my shortcomings, my family of origin. whether or not i will be back here in five years has yet to be determined, this i do know, i want to bring the love of my life out here to experience the Outer Banks, and someday i will.
so although this is brief, i will be aware and present for what is going to happen over this day, and i am certain that there will be more than one opportunity for growth over the next 36 hours that comprise my journey home. so i will perhaps write this afternoon, when i reach the my resting point for tonight.
