well it has been a couple of hours since i read the just for today entry this morning and i have been running around trying to get my ducks in a row for the new year. not that my personal life requires a whole bunch of activity to start the new year but my employer requires certain tasks to be done before the clock ticks over to 2006.
so i guess i am applying the reading in my life without little or no thought, at least as far as my job is concerned.
as far as my personal life is concerned i have yet to have the opportunity to be of service this morning, but the day is young...
when i read this reading i get the sense that there is more to my life than the path of recovery, and it is my task to integrate my life with my recovery and allow myself to open to the opportunities for service as they arise.
ARGHHHHHH!!! sometimes i hate the spiritual principles of responsibility and integrity.
but so it goes.....
anyhow time to get off this random brain wave dump and on to the task at hand -- getting the job done so i can relax with a few friends and watch the football game.
after all, i also need to be of service to myself!
