🌄 losing track 🌄
posted: Mon, Aug 31, 2020 06:33:24 AM

of what i have been given. this morning, i am rushing to get a whole lot done in the little time i have left. in twenty minutes i will be going away for two days of fourteeners and the fact that i can do that, is a gift i GOT as a result of getting clean, staying clean and learning to live a program of recovery. i GOT to spend some time with friends last night and i have more of a life than i think i deserve. i could stay there, but this morning i can see that day by day, i have earned all that i have and that i NEED to say that, yes i am grateful for all of this and be aware that all of it can be lost in a heartbeat, if i choose to use. i have no desire to use this morning and i am marching into this day knowing full well that the grace i have to live this life, is a direct result of those dark days that led me to the light of recovery.

3) If this transformation became to me an object of desire, I would
express the desire by the nameless simplicity.

Simplicity without a name
Is free from all external aim.
With no desire, at rest and still,
All things go right as of their will.
