α how do i incorporate that extraordinary POWER into my ordinary life? Ω
posted: Fri, May 12, 2006 07:14:26 AM

recently, i have been finding some very profound and interesting changes in my internal landscape. and by rece4ntly, i mean over the past two or three days. some of my behaviors that i found acceptable last week are no longer acceptable to me. some of the opinions and beliefs that i have accumulated over the course of my living experience now feel false and need to be revisited, revised or tossed, with the emphasis on the latter. and to what do i owe this tectonic shift in my internal landscape?
well ...
i did spend seven days at a service conference a few weeks ago and felt that something had changed when i came back. i think that may be part of what is going on, but i do not think that is the whole of the experience.
and
over the past few weeks, i did have greater success in my morning meditation sessions. i am going down deeper than ever before for longer periods of time. so, applying the reading to the reality of my situation, what was started in california two weeks ago has been rocketed into my reality by my daily practice of the eleventh step. do i need to seek other members experience, strength and hope regarding this kind of spiritual experience? perhaps. what i feel today is still a bit of uncertainty about where this process will leave me and a bit of gratitude that it is occurring at all. what do i need to do about it? accept it, give it over to my HIGHER POWER, and let go of my expectations about what the outcome of this tiny process will be in the long run. after all, about the only way i can stop it from running its course is to use and that alternative is unacceptable to me today!
