accepting all that this life has to offer today. well reality smacked me in the face today. it is true that i volunteered to help out at work, but boy oh boy has my day off been one long one. work was long and very busy for me and the errands i ran after work took forever. i could play victim here, but the reality is, i volunteered for this entire day and now that i am home, i am grateful that it went as well as it did. i did not scream or curse at anyone, i did not stress about getting stuff done and i got to come home and write this missive to the interwebs.
all i have to do now, is cook dinner, look for a few players for fantasy football and relax for the rest of the evening. it is a good day to be living in the real world, even if it did not quite fit the plan i had this morning, when i got up from the void. my life goes on and so does my recovery, just for today.
