the overwhelming feelings that often arise in recovery -- feelings of fear, anger, and mistrust -- can also keep me isolated. so here i sit in a service committee, waiting for it to get done. but it goes on and on, talking about the same old stuff. oh well, i do get the opportunity to serve the fellowship. but what does it really have to do with the topic of my feeling different? well, for one, i feel like i am sometimes miles away from the members in the room. so a quick note while my tenuous internet connection lasts. so off tot he races and time to pay attention to what is going on.
