∞ accepting the challenges real life offers me ∞
posted: Tue, Apr 25, 2006 08:32:17 AM

and the challenges today and over the course of the last couple of days has been how to put the spiritual principles of the fellowship that has given me this new life ahead of my personality and opinions. i am in a very good spot this morning regarding this situation, but i have yet to attend any of the sessions of the day, so i will see how this goes.
anyhow i miss being away from my home, my home group, the woman that i love, and my home and dog, and not necessarily in that order! i know i can get through this week and i feel all kinds of changes happening inside me as a result of this event. the first is the realization that i am basically a home body and not some kind of traveling dude. i hate to think that i have become some sort of domestic kind of husband or anything like that, but truthfully accepting that is certainly something i have to look at. the second change is that finally i feel that i have preparing for this event all my life and that i am exactly where i am supposed to be. and i finally feel a part of this process. although i still lack a bit of understanding of what is going on here, at least i can accept that this is an opportunity for growth and for me to become more and just be present with what is going on. well enough of musing about how terrible and wonderful things are internally today. i have work to do, people to see and places to be. i could go on and on, but right here right now i am ready to face and accept the challenges this day will bring!

Book 2

1) What (Tao's) skilful planter plants
Can never be uptorn;
What his skilful arms enfold,
From him can ne'er be borne.
Sons shall bring in lengthening line,
Sacrifices to his shrine.
