one of the gifts i really never get over being grateful for is the witnessing of the miracle of recovery as members start to accumulate some days clean. the transformation never ceases to amaze me and i know that i too underwent the same process. nevertheless it is a wonderful process to watch. i especially get a kick out of one of the men i sponsor celebrating one of their annual anniversaries. today just happens to be the sixth anniversary of my long-distance sponsee, Reese. congratulations bro for doing it one day at a time for six straight years. i know the year has been tough on you and that the process has not been painless nor seemingly straight forward. you persevered however and today it is an honor for me to say that i am your sponsor -- thank you for the opportunity to allow me to be part of your recovery.
so off to work and let me see how io can sustain the miracle my life has become!
