with shortcomings, as well seems to be a current theme in my life these days. mine are not so terribly draining, save for my desire to jump in an judge the shortcomings of those with whom i see in my life. i have been asking the POWER that fuels my recovery to open my heart to accepting them for who they are, and perhaps, just maybe, it is starting to take effect. i certainly am present enough to see how my shortcomings wear on others and finding a bit of empathy for others, whether or not they are even aware of how they are acting, is certainly a project i can undertake.

moving on this morning, i am attempting to load my Dad's e-mail and Facebook accounts on a newer computer so i can take care of some of his unfinished bidness. of course, patience is not one of my long suits, so i think i will post this and pay attention to what i need to get accomplished.
